Sopa nightmare is back, and one of our strongest allies in the fight against it, has joined them now!

ALV.

Follow-Up of the Day: Internets Revolt as Facebook Backs CISPA: Facebook (and also Microsoft, Verizon, AT&T, Intel…) has come out in support of CISPASOPA’s evil twin that essentially would obliterate online privacy — and thewrath of the web has reached a fever pitch.

What’s the best way to fight back?

Sign the petition by Demand Progress:

“Internet users were able to push GoDaddy to withdraw its support of SOPA. Now it’s time to make sure Facebook knows we’re furious.”

Wikipedia starts the protest

Ladies and gentlemen! The internet censorship era starts TODAY! Jan 18!
Get closer, take a look, which one would you prefer?

Maybe you would like the grooveshark version? This way, you won’t be able to listen to ANY song at all! Even when you don’t plan on making money out of it. You have NO RIGHT!http://grooveshark.com/#!/censorship

We also have the Google version. It comes in a combo, includin Gmail, Youtube and your own personal search enchine! (restrictions may apply, depending on the country.)

You may as well choose the first, the one and only starter of the censorship protest. The starter of the blackout jan 18! WIKIPEDIA! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

Are you more of a blogger person? Do you prefer the individual content from user to user? Well, we censor it for you too! Check out our new Wordpress version! http://wordpress.com/

We will come back soon with more censored options! Right now, these are the pages that have joined the protest. Mozilla is in as well! http://mozilla-hispano.org/

SOPA and Protect IP are dangerous. We need to be informed. What do you guys think?

Tumblr should join the SOPA protest

There is this thing called ‘nuclear option’ that Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, Google and some others are considering on choosing were they will shut down their services for 24 hours straight, as a protest against SOPA. This will happen on Jan 23, a day before the SOPA meeting for approval -or whatever the whole thing is called- in the Congress..

The more websites do the protest, the more effect it will have. Tumblr has already taken part of it, when they urged us to call and mail our -your- congressmen. They should do it again.

We can’t let SOPA happen.

You may have to excuse my english skills, since it is not my main language.
